CIRA (Canadian Internet Registration Authority) recently announced the re-opening of their annual .CA Impact Awards for 2012.

If your .CA website helps make a difference by contributing in any of the areas listed below, you stand a chance to win an Impact Award, with each category winner eligible to receive $5,000 and loads of recognition in .CA publications.

The four categories are:

  • Public Sector and Not–for–Profit – a government, NGO or association whose website or application create positive change for lives of members, donors and/or the public.
  • eLearning – recognizing youth and educators who use their .ca website to share knowledge, information and promote education.
  • Small Business – recognizing a small company (under 100 employees), whose website has helped the business contribute to its community by fostering sales or creating jobs.
  • Applications (including gaming and mobile) – rewarding a company whose mobile website, application or game has made a positive impact.
